The Association had a meeting on July 12, 2009 with 28 members present. The
Association currently has 118 members and the treasury has a balance of
$3,848.32. The hole-in-one club has a balance 0f $490.00.
The Lexington Club Championship was discussed at the meeting. It was decided
to have a two day championship with an Open Division and a Senior Division.
The Open Division is available to any player and will be played from the
Blue Tees. The Senior Division is only open to players 60 and above will be
played from the Gold Tees. An entry fee of $15.00 will be required for the
two day event and will be paid before play on the first day. The
Association will put up $5.00 per player’s $15.00 and the $5.00 will go into
the general prize money pool. A separate skins game will be available for
all players at their own expense. Prize money for skins will be separated
by division. There will also be a net score winner in each division (100% of
handicap will be used). A player can only win one prize in each division.
The dates of the tournament are August 8th and 9th and will use tee times.
The format will be Gross scores and will be flighted after the first round.
Ties for trophies will result in a playoff. The Member/Member tournament
will be held on September the 12th and 13th. Details will be posted at a
later date.

The Association had refreshments after the July tournament and by judging
from what food was left after everyone ate, it must have been enjoyed, so we
will do it again after another tournament.
